Historical Introduction
The story of how three young Mauritian intellectuals started a journey that became Trimurti.
Historical Introduction
In 1974, a small group of three young Mauritian intellectuals decided to join hands and move forward together in their mutual journey towards progress. All of them were in their twenties and early thirties having the same vision and sharing the same cultural, social and moral values.
In 1975, some other young friends with similar ideas joined the group and an association called Trimurti was created. On the 22nd of June 1978, Trimurti was formally registered with the Registrar of Association.
On 30th November 2020, the 45th Anniversary of the creation of Trimurti was celebrated during the Annual Family Gathering 2020 held at Sunset Reef Hotel, Pointe aux Piments. To mark this special occasion, the Indian High Commissioner, H.E Shri Tanmaya Lal, who was the Chief guest, launched a video clip on the creation, objectives and activities of Trimurti.
